Opium is born to our mare Adams Canasta she is the second foal from this Mare her Sire was Branco Van Overis our stallion and once again like her full brother Maximus UK she has shown great potential from birth.
She includes the famous French Sires Double Espoir and Galoubet A in her pedigree.
Her initial Chestnut coat is shedding to show quite a light grey colour. She has gained the strong atheletic characteristice of both he Dam and Sire. Grand Sire Parco and a line up of third generation sires including bloodlines Le Mexico & Darco, and a plethera of 4th Generation sires Alme and Marius this young lady like her brother Maximus now has a sand enviable jumping pedigree.
November 2006 Opium continues to impress showing all the athleticism of her Dam and the sure footedness of her Sire Branco.
January 2007 Now a beautiful yearling filly she is becoming finer in stature.
May 2007 Opium has continued to mature and is now very elegant drawing the eye with her quality.
Dec 2007 sees Opium developing into a beautiful frame and beginning to look very exciting
Jan 2009 A beautiful 3 year mare with good paces and athletic physique
July 2010 Opium is under saddle and responding very well to schooling she will make a great jumper and has shown us alot of talent. Her dam was a particularly good and proven show jumper grade B ridden by Guy williams at Hickstead .

October 10th 2010 - Opium has been to her first show and jumped clear with great style and is going again this sunday very easy to ride and superbly balanced always landing with correct lead - we love her , she also squeaks a lot and is very talkative when being lunged She jumped clear again at her second show and is looking like a top quality competition mare.
She has a quiet easy temperament and will make a top quality competition horse, with a scopey careful jump.She has caught the eye of Guy Williams whilst in schooling at his yard. That's a pretty good recommendation!!

2011 - Becoming much more powerfull in her five year old year she is showing a lot more jump and she will soon start winning.
April 2011 First win for Opium in a british novice and the following week came fourth .
She is really beginning to love the jumping and competitions this is a cracking mare bold carefull and has a lot of scope . very very good behind over a fence this has been inherited from her sire Branco van Overis . Great future ahead of her, third at show on sunday .

May 24th 2011
Opium has been schooling at Guy Williams today round a 120m track and she cleared the jumps with ease and style ,very classic technique and was rhythmical and level at each one . We then took her to the Derby jumps and she went up and down the banks and over the double of ditches and then through the devils dyke,she is really improving, with so much more jump to come very exciting.
